Ethan is the director over both the Children’s and Missions Ministry at Lighthouse Assembly of God. He grew up in a small town located in East Tennessee called Elizabethton. At the age of 12, Ethan was called into a life of missions. From there, in order to prepare for his calling, he served in several positions at his local church. Then, 9 years later, the Lord finally opened a door for Ethan to travel to Venezuela in 2015 and serve within a children’s home called Samuel’s House; a home for abandoned street children. This opportunity changed his life and confirmed that he was on the right path. After returning to the states, Ethan knew that he had to get back on the field. From there, he continued serving under his former church until the fall of 2017, when he started the preparations for his next assignment…India. Upon his arrival, Ethan fell in love with the culture, people, and language. However, there was a darkness that covered the nation. He truly realized that very few people had ever heard the name of Jesus. From there, he worked with a Church-Planting initiative, built relationships, and had the opportunity to tell people about the love and sacrifice of God. After his early return from India, God showed Ethan the next step and transitioned him to Lighthouse Assembly of God. There, he was offered to serve under leadership.
