We as a team understand the gifts, callings of the body of Christ and we value servanthood leadership. We understand that leading people into genuine encounters with God is a team effort, not an individual effort. We have dedicated ourselves to the scriptures as our primary leadership guide. We believe that every person has the right to be equipped for the work and service that the Lord has called then into. It is from this biblical worldview that we operate in our leadership efforts.

Myra and I have been here since 2002. I come from a business background and never thought in my early years that the Lord would call me to pastor a church… but I’m so very glad He did. What a joy it has been to serve this Body!

As a pastor, I feel my first priority is to equip and enable the Body of Christ to be a platform in which to serve out the calling the Lord has placed on them. I fully understand that preaching, teaching, governance, and strong leadership, is also the role of a pastor and I take that very seriously.

Our story together began 5 years ago, when we met at Lighthouse. We are both veterans and we both also have a background in and a heart for the recovery community. We share a burden for those who are lost, broken and hurting. We are very grateful for the love and support we have here at Lighthouse and are eager to serve our church and community as the Lord leads us.

michael & ashlyn orreY, next generation directors

Hi, we're Michael and Ashlyn Orrey, the Next-Gen Directors at Lighthouse Assembly Of God. We've been married since September 2020 and have a passion for working with kids. We’ve been working with youth and kids ministry since 2018. Ashlyn holds a degree in early childhood education. She also currently teaches at a private Christian school. We believe that every child has a unique purpose and we're committed to helping them discover it. Our vision for the Next-Gen Ministry is to create a environment where the kids (all the way to young adults) can learn about God's love, grow in their faith, and walk it out in everyday life. We're excited to be a part of this community and look forward to serving your family!

Jessica Jones, administration & worship leader

Jessica Jones and her husband Scotty have been a part of the Lighthouse family since 2014. Jessica serves as the church administrator, the Worship Leader and the SaveOne Greeneville Director. Her heart’s desire is to lead the church in worshipping the Father in Spirit and in Truth.

Though my background is monitoring data for experimental drug & devise research trials, I enjoy learning new things. I thank God for being given the opportunity to serve in any role and for providing all the resources and right people to accomplish His goal.
